On 11 september, we organized a workshop within the Erasmus+ Culinary and Proximity Tourism project, with the participation of our project partners. During the online event, we presented the marketing activities of Visit Harghita as a good example of promoting proximity and culinary tourism.
On 27 september, we organized an information event at Septimia Resort in Odorheiu Secuiesc. We presented the objectives and results of the project during the one-day conference organized on World Tourism Day.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our food tourism training course for businesses, organizations and tourism professionals. Together with our partners, we created a digital course that supports tourism establishments and organizations in developing their capacity in the field of culinary tourism and domestic tourism. The course is free and after a simple registration it becomes available to all those interested. Website: gastronomytourism.eu website.
The course includes video presentations by experts, numerous case studies from Europe and quizzes to reinforce key skills. The course has a rich and varied educational content: the psychology of food, the neuromarketing of food, the neuroscience of food nutrition, ethical marketing in gastronomic tourism, opportunities for the development of gastronomic tourism, the development of domestic tourism.
The aim of the project is to offer small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the field of rural tourism a flexible set of training opportunities adapted to their needs, in order to increase their capacity in the field of culinary tourism and inland tourism, in accordance with the rules and guidelines of the European Ecological Pact.
The project is coordinated by Pole Metropolitain Pour L'entrepreneuriat, Le Carburateur in France.
The project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.
